I lost what I was …

When the battle had just begun

Some say there was none

But I know there was one…..

Its wrong to say I hadn’t tried

But I fell back with every stride

The only regret, just one,

I lost the battle which was to be won..

But life itself is a battle

In the end to be lost and forgotten

So what, if my dreams were shattered

There will be many nights to dream on

And sunny days to enliven them….

Cause it’s not the size of spark

But its presence is what matters.......

What is next?

The Abode: What is next?: All my fears, have started to come true one after one. And now I have begun, to fear fearing.

संघर्ष

ख्वाइशों के इस समंदर में,
एक छोटी सी ख्वाइश थी अपनी।
मेहनत की भी अपनी बात थी,
पर क्या इतना काफी होता है?

तुम क्या जानो,
कितना फासला होता है,
बस एक छोटी रेखा से,
कहीं सपने टूटते हैं,

कहीं खुशियां घर आती हैं

संघर्ष की भी होती है दास्ताँ,
उसे तो भुला देते हो,
पर संघर्ष ही जीवन है,
इसे तो तुम नहीं छीन सकते।।

Tough to sink in

UPSC IAS Pre results declared # not qualified :(

Its very hard to sink in. Seems like battle has been lost.

but FIGHT will continue. :)

Be fearless (क्‍यों डरें ज़िन्‍दगी में क्‍या होगा)

Nearly 11 months ago, I took a bold decision to do what I always had aspired for. It was not an instant decision but something which was always in back of  my mind. Due to financial concerns and lack of self-confidence, I lacked courage to go for this tough journey leading to a beautiful destination. Often thoughts of settling to a mediocre life haunted me but I was unable to pay heed to it. At the same time, I didn't wish regret to burden rest of my life. Hence, I plunged to take the first leap forward with thought in mind  "a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step."
       
 These lines inspired me a lot at that point of time :
                              क्‍यों डरें ज़िन्‍दगी में क्‍या होगा
                              कुछ ना होगा तो तज़रूबा होगा                      ~  जावेद अख्तर  

These days, I am down and bit dejected. I may miss the bus of mains by few marks. This was the thing which I was hopeful for in this attempt. I worked hard for it.It would have made my further ride smoother. Nevertheless this has been a beautiful journey so far. In life, you may not always get that you except.You need to move on. You never know "what is in store for you".God's plans might be better. This has made me more determined and committed.Following lines are echoing in my mind:

                              क्‍या हार में क्‍या जीत में

                              किंचित नहीं भयभीत मैं

                              संधर्ष पथ पर जो मिले 
                              यह भी सही वह भी सही।

                              वरदान माँगूँगा नहीं,

The start might be tough,
